"Ponder the path of your feet; then all your ways will be sure."

Proverbs 4:26

The purpose for my blog

It seems like the majority of people I know are going through difficult seasons in their lives, either personally or with others. The two biggest concerns I see are:

1. People are struggling with personal issues more than ever
2. People are struggling with relational issues more than ever

The Bible teaches us that we need the power of the Holy Spirit in our lives to be completely transformed in our minds, making us healthy people so we can not only live our best life individually, but be a blessing to others around us.

My hope is that I can share what God has been doing to transform my life and encourage you wherever you're at in yours. I don't have all the answers and won't try coming off as the expert. God has done a work in my life though, and if any part of my story can encourage you, that's a win for me!

A little About Me
I am married to my beautiful wife Lizzy . We got married in May of 2014 and have loved being involved in ministry in difference capacities. Though we've had our hurdles, she's one of the strongest people I know and has overcome tremendous obstacles in life.

I started working in ministry at my church in 2012, and in 2021 I completed my pastoral internship through Berean Bible School, a sub-ministry of Global University. I started working at Outreach Inc in March of 2020 and am passionate about helping churches build "bridges" to connect with their communities. I also recently completed my life coaching certification to help encourage people to discover God's purpose for their life, setting goals and forming life transforming habits.

MY STATEMENTS
Over the last couple of years, I've been writing out lists of several different types of statements in my life that I want to live by and be known for.
The statements include:

1. My Mission Statement
2. My Purpose Statements
3. My Personal Values
4. My Self Beliefs

I'm sure I'll revise them over time and I'm definitely not good at following all of them (in fact I probably break more of them than I do follow them). But I feel like they create a good road map for me to lean on when I lose my way - a compass to help me stay on course.
